It’s Friday night hey let’s go see who’s downtown
Get a couple of drinks and get home after we come down
Saturday night spent in the park there’s a fifth just for two
When asked why I drink a lot I say, “There’s nothin’ else to do.”

My grades have dropped, they’ve dropped a lot. I know my mistake
The thought won’t cross my mind of the risk I take
My friends say, “Stop!” then I say, “Drop!” And they walk away
